Hugo Managing Director, Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies, UK & Ireland Breda About Hugo Breda In2019,HugoBredawas appointed toManagingDirector of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices (JJMD), UK & Ireland, where he has driven the organisation focused on addressing the triple aim of improving patient outcomes and experience while reducing the total cost of care. Prior to that, Hugo served as Vice President Strategic Capabilities, Medical Devices EMEA, where he was crucial to the development of the Services & Solutions organisation for JJMD EMEA. Hugo started his career in Janssen, the Pharmaceutical companies of Johnson & Johnson, in Belgium 25 years ago as a sales representative. Advancing his career quickly with increasing responsibilities, Hugo went on to lead the Oncology, Haematology, CNS, Immunology and General Medicine businesses in Belgium, Austria & Switzerland and France where he had a strong track record of developing patient centric programs that created broader access to innovation and better outcomes for patients in Haematology, Schizophrenia, Alzheimer and Psoriasis. In 2013, he moved to the J&J Medical Devices sector where he started as the General Manager for the BeNeLux. Hugo holds a Master of Science in Physical Education and Kinesiology with a specialisation in coaching and training sciences from the university of Leuven.
