50 CEO TODAY UNITED KINGDOM AWARDS 2021 Entrepreneurship Phil Race CEO of AdEPT Technology About Phil Race Over a 20 year career Phil has headed businesses within CSC, SSP, Sirius, Logica (formerly CMG) and ICL (now Fujitsu) in both international and UK centric roles. He has worked extensively with Private Equity companies such as Vista and Thomas H Lee, he has sold businesses (notably Agencyport Europe to Xchanging) and has led sales teams at software firm Advanced and outsourcer Xchanging during his career. He has transformed companies who trade globally – having led companies that both develop software and deploy complex, mission critical projects, with a specific focus in the financial services arena. He is now the CEO of AIM listed AdEPT Technology Group plc, a company of over 300 staff, a turnover of over £60m with a mission of ‘Uniting Technology, Inspiring People’ providing services encompassing data networks, IT managed services and unified communications. AdEPT counts the Cabinet Office, the NHS, over 5,000 schools and companies such as Redrow Homes and Coca Cola amongst it’s customer community. Born in Cambridge and an Electronic Engineering graduate of NottinghamUniversity, in 2000 Phil was awarded anMBA fromHenley Management College.
