About Jonathan Simpson-Dent Jonathan is an experienced CEO focused on technology-enabled service businesses. He has a track record of building high-performance teams and customer-led cultures to drive innovation and international expansion. He was appointed to Carousel by the founder and private equity investors to transform and scale the business across Europe and beyond. Jonathan’s early career was in finance and strategy at PwC and McKinsey. He has spent the last 20 years leading the development of international businesses. He was a member of the European leadership team at PepsiCo before joining HomeServe Plc as CFO in 2007, where he led a management buyout of the Emergency Services Division with private equity backing to form the Evander Group. From 2012, he led the International Division of Cardtronics, a NASDAQ listed financial services business, through a period of rapid geographic expansion. Jonathan is energised by organisations and platforms with transformational potential. He has worked closely with a number of private equity backers and listed boards to drive shareholder returns through organic growth and M&A. Jonathan is a board member at EdinburghWorldwide Investment Trust Plc., and is actively involved in the not-for-profit sector, most recently asChair of Bromford Housing Group.
