I do this by investing not only in new technology but also the team, through personal business coaching, mentorship and one-to-one training. Additionally, I am passionate about being part of the local community and giving back - it is a huge part of our business ethos. Initiatives have included school sponsorship in the local areas and the development of a Social Housing business where Hyde & Rowe have worked alongside a number of local councils to house and support local families and individuals who may not otherwise have been able to find a home. The team at Hyde & Rowe have also just received an SME Award for being Croydon’s Most Trusted Independent Agent. As a team, we recognise that winning such an award is a huge honour as we know that we are in the company of many other highly respected agents. However, we offer a tremendous amount of innovation and are strategically well placed to survive the market in a tough economic downturn, as a company, we certainly offer something very different. We maintain strong integration and sponsorship within the local community. I am honoured to be commended for Croydon’s Business Excellence Awards, under the category Best Women in Business award which was held at the Prestigious Grand Sapphire Banqueting Suite. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the fantastic team at Hyde & Rowe, I mark this wonderful occasion as a huge milestone for the company. Throughout the process of sifting through 200-plus candidates, I became a finalist of 10 candidates, and then to be actually commended out of the 10 finalists was a huge achievement and a moment to remember. These awards offer true recognition to the company as a whole, and demonstrate our commitment as a team to carry on growing as an organisation and to continue delivering outstanding service excellence to exceed our client’s expectations. I am also honoured to be selected to take part in the Parliamentary Review, which clearly states the positioning and standing of the businesses in the current climate. By invitation of Lord Pickles, I feel that it is a genuine privilege to be selected for the Parliamentary Review. This is a hugely prestigious publication with a national and international audience. The publication is sent to more than 500,000 leading policymakers and business executives in a bid to raise industry standards by sharing best practices. I am truly delighted that I have been personally selected and receiving the recognition. It is very well received after 15 years of hard work, and I look forward to celebrating further successes in the future. Our capabilities as a team expand across all property related services to include: sales, property management, social housing, corporate short term lets, serviced apartments, a buy to let advisory service, acquisitions/development, in house eviction team and our newly developed landlord seminars. My experiences have taught me to maintain a belief of never giving up. I have worked through challenging markets and with the downturn of Brexit, this led to an impending impact on the property market causing many agents and firms not being able to work under such stringent conditions. Being able to develop new markets and business models has brought fresh ideas and revenue into the business, whilst creating further job opportunities. We are a force to be reckoned with and very active within the Croydon market. We offer a personalised, bespoke service where we are able to walk our clients through the let or sale of their property. Along with the additional spectrum of services we offer, we are also able to assist our landlords via our seminars which include advice on the structure of their portfolios and the Section 24 issues which are now coming into force.
